Diego Conta is Co-Founder and Chairman of Hedra Holding Srl.
He started his working career in San Bonifacio (Verona) at the companies Zuccherifici Eridania, Falco and Perlini.
In 1963 he moved to Milan and joined Italcogim where he has worked for 45 years, at the beginning as Manager with direct responsibility for relations with Ministries and Public Administrations and, then, as .Administrator of various companies within the same group (Natural Gas, Pitta Gas, National Gas, Dora Gas, Gasbon, Alento Gas).
In 1984 he became Vice Managing Director and, later, first Managing Director and, then, President of the Board of Directors of the companies Italcogim Spa, Italcogim Reti Spa and Italcogim Vendite Spa driving the Group to become one the national leaders of the sector.
From 2008 to June 2010 he was Consultant at Italtrading Spa and Unendo Spa, following the evolution of the gas and renewable sources of energy markets; also, he was involved in the Board of Directors of the companies (Elce Energia, Rotondella Windpower, Eolo Puglia, Serra Windpower, Eco Build System, Mirata Windpower).
From 2010 to 2016 he was General Manager of the Italian branch of Blue Management Limited, a company interested in developing an innovative system of methane gas transmission (CNG).
